ABOUT ME

I love strong coffee in the morning and working late at night. Being a self-employed editor suits me well.

I am a scientist with sophisticated native-English language honed by a love of English and American literature.  My professional life is like flying on two different wings: science and language.

For many years I held the positions of graduate school professor of scientific writing at Ghent University, Belgium, and editor at the Inflammation Research Center in Ghent, Belgium. I am a PhD holder with a track record of publications and a senior editor with a medical journal.

I have been working as a self-employed editor for several years helping researchers and graduate students in European, African, Middle Eastern and Asian countries.
